As Obama appoints the men that he hopes will be able to do what many before them have fails to do and bring peace to Palestine and to Afghanistan, the question has to be asked has he chosen the right men. Can these men succeed if Obama does as all those in that office has done in the past and not finally said is enough is enough to Israel and forced them to the peace table to make them abide by the agreements?
Within the Kemetic faith, it is true that we do have a number of war Gods but this does not mean that we condone the use of war such as we have seen in recent years in this troubled region.
The use of war can be unavoidable that is true and there are times that we have to use it in order to ensure that the Ma at is kept and chaos is pushed back to the very darkest of corners.
War is like all things in this world it can be used for good and for bad, it is up to us to make sure that it is only used as a last resort for the good of man.
So first thing to look at is the two men that they are hailing as the ones who will bring peace both men do have a great track record in this area there is no doubt of that.
George Mitchell in Northern Ireland & Richard Holbrooke in Yugoslavia.
Let us know look a little more closely at these great peacemakers work.
In Northern Ireland, there is peace but there is still not a united province. The parliament has failed to sit a full session as yet with London having to continue to suspend it amid trouble between the two sides.
Yes, the terror that once walked the streets but is it the great success that the USA claimed?
After all, if Mitchell comes across problems such as this the out come would be very much different plus he would not have the backing of a central government to help him out as he did in Ireland.
All in all the skills that he showed in Ireland would not really be any greater than those of all the others that have tried and failed.
Don’t get me wrong I as many in the world would like to see a lasting peace in this region to be able to see children walk the streets to be able to play with out the constant shadow of war stalking them every moment of the day and night.
However, Palestine is not Northern Ireland the people, the faiths that are involved have only one thing in common, and that is hatred and blood shed.
I truly fear that already in his first days in office Obama is showing us that he has no really grasp on the great problems that the world faces.
In this great problem, we should be working as a community not as one so-called super power is taking the lead and the rest of us following like sheep. Even more so when that power has such a large vested interest in the well-being of one of the parties that are involved.
What we need is a lead from a neutral power that has no interest in the politics of either side. This way every one can see that the interests of both sides are being looked after. The powers of the world would have to unite behind such a move agreeing that they will do as it advises with no opt out option such as the USA continues to use whenever it is cornered in the UN on any decision that Israel does not like.
If he really wants to see, peace in the Middle East Obama has to stand aside and let the world take charge he has to accept that the USA is as answerable for its actions as every other nation in the world.
The time has come to stop appointing USA people to deal with the problems that the world faces and allow the world to come forward and take its place at the head of its nations and together as one, we can bring order back to our troubled world.
Yet I do not see this new man doing this I fear that he will be just the same as all those who have held this office and will be filled with self-importance and secret empire building.
As I said, it is early days yet so I will give him a little benefit of doubt to see if he can be what he has said he is to prove to the world that he is a new kind of president and that he will bring change for the good.
As for Afghanistan this is a nation that has failed to be tamed by nations and empires even greater that the USA.
If we look at the countries history, we can see its pages littered with the blood of the armies who have concern great empire but have failed to concert h Afghans.
The USA should and must look at these lessons to see the way forward.
We have to work with the people of Afghanistan to make them see that the way forward for their nations is to come in to the present century and to make ties with those who look to help them forward.
In doing this they can finally be able to see a way forward and themselves achieve what the foreign powers have failed to do through out history.
To time has surely come to stop watering the afghan soil with the brave blood of the allied troops who have come to this foreign land to bring peace and help.
As with the Middle East the US has to see that, the situation is very different from that that they saw in Yugoslavia.
What they tried their will never work here.
As with Ireland if we closely look at what the achieved and we can see that they have more papered over the cracks that truly brought peace and unity to this area.
Still we see the underlying hatred that brought this area to the horrific wars that pulled nations apart.
This is not the way to go in Afghanistan again Obama has to accept that the answer will not come from the USA but from an international group that they would have to play a minor if any role in.
Through out our modern history US president have tried to lead the world forcing their solutions on other nations that they have no real idea about their culture and history.
Every time they have failed to bring a lasting solution to the problem in some cases, the best they could do was to replace one problem with another.
With such a track history the new administration in the USA has only one real way forward and that is to except that they have to step aside and accept that other nations of the world can find a better solution if they are aloud to take the lead with the USA following and agreeing to back these solutions without question.
Let us hope that we are about to see 4yrs of change for the good time will tell and I will be watching closely and will continue to give my personnel views on their actions.
As I have always said these are just my views and I do not support of back either side that I have mentioned here it is just a neutral persons views on how I see the news.
